Paul has been married to the former Ellen Vise of Dothan for 27 years. Their daughter, Beth, is age 15 and attends Providence Christian School.

Paul's parents are Burl and Willadean Lee of Dothan. Paul's father, Burl, is retired from the City of Dothan Fire Department. Paul's mother-in-law is Helen Vise of Dothan.
